On July 14, 2021, the summer salon of Sichuan Convention and Exhibition Industries Association, hosted by the the Exhibition Organizing Committee of Sichuan Convention and Exhibition Industries Association and organized by Sichuan International Exhibition Co., Ltd., was held at SIE with the theme of Continuity and Innovation of Sichuan Convention and Exhibition Industry.

He Yue, utive President of the Sichuan Convention and Exhibition Industries Association, briefed the work in the first half of the year and the following work plan. Yang Qinglong,  President of Sichuan Convention and Exhibition Industries Association, Party Secretary and Chairman of SIE, pointed out that it is necessary to give full play to the role of the Association to promote the vigorous development of Sichuan convention and exhibition industry. In addition, the convention and exhibition enterprises should keep their original aspirations, strive to enhance their value, promote the sound development of the enterprise and proceed with confidence; the patterns of business are to be changed and services should be improved to convert competition into cooperation and generate revenues in a collaborative way. The salon has pointed out the direction for the development of Sichuan's convention and exhibition industry in the post-epidemic era, and greatly inspired the confidence and determination of all exhibition enterprises to revive Sichuan's convention and exhibition industry.

Fu Wendong, Director of the Exhibition Organizing Committee of Sichuan Convention and Exhibition Industries Association, briefed the 18th WCIF and invited guests to exchange views on the "inheritance and innovation of government-led exhibitions", "coordination and development of provincial convention and exhibition resources", "positive interactions and mutual promotion in convention and exhibition ecosystem". The guests actively took part in the discussion, putting forward the current difficulties and solutions for the development of the convention and exhibition industry and sharing constructive ideas for the industrial development.
